Playing The Game
"Wheel of the Teachings" is a non-violent walk-through game. The goal is to find all of the hidden wheels. The wheels look like this:
 
The best strategy to use in the game would be to click on everything you see. Sometimes you'll find wheels, sometimes you'll find sutras and mantras, sometimes you'll see quotations from the sayings of Buddha.
For each 2 of the wheels you find, you'll then be able to find one of the Four Noble Truths, which are represented here by books:
 
You'll find one of these books on each of the game's four levels.
In order to complete each level, you must find both of that level's wheels and its Noble Truth (book). Once you do so, you will be able to go to the next level.
Cursor Feedback
This game uses a "cursor feedback" system. You'll know when
you've found something when your normal cursor changes to this:
 
Similarly, you'll know which directions are available for movement according to the way the cursors change:
  Look up
  Go Back (or Look Down)
  Go Left
  Go Right
The cardinal rule of gameplay is: click on everything!
The "Go" Menu
The Go menu (just to the right of the File menu) acts as a kind of rudimentary bookmark to save your place. As you advance to each level of the game, the corresponding menu item becomes enabled, allowing you to quit the game and return to that if, if you so choose.
